Slowing down the corrosion of metal structures using polymeric materials

This article examines the resistance of corrosion-resistant polymeric materials to chemical reagents and degree corrosion, taking into account direction corrosion processes. One main factors that determined rate is air humidity dust released atmosphere during industrial emissions. Mixtures based on polymer can be used gum up apparatus equipment; for protection, expensive are required. The sample conditioned 30 months at (23 ± 2) 0С, relative (50 5) %, thickness determined. Resistance change in mass samples a temperature 35 0C 3 was analyzed. It also found by determining (grade St3) storing steel plates different exposure environment 50 days. As result, anti-corrosion coatings lower than control sample. According data obtained, it chloro-sulfonated polyethylene compositions resistant various organic solvents, acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, others.
